Hi ,

Welcome! You sure have come to the right place. Always feel free to post

no matter how bad you are feeling, no ache is too small or too big, we've all

been there. I've been dx'd since July 2007 and it still seems new to me,

getting the meds in control, or me in control of them, etc. Finding the right

combo and all that. As you can see already, this list has a great group of

people, lots of support and humor. I think its great that you have such a good

rapport with your Rheumy. Regarding daily living, I think for me, my

kitchen has had the most little changes I think. I bought a 30 " stool so that I

could still enjoy cooking and baking. I found something to help myself open

cans, I have a jar opener other than my boyfriend....LOL, and other little

gadgets that I used IF needed. On days I can do them myself I don't use them.

I

still have this thing that I don't want to become dependent on them. Also when

I go play in my garden, instead of working straight through I might work in

15 minute intervals. Changes like that make a big difference and still allow

" normalcy " . Wishing you many good days, as many pain free as possible :)

Hugs and smiles,

Heidi in Mass.

I'm new to this site.

I was dx with RA in January. Just like that it hit me out of no where.

I had no idea what this was.........I had no idea what

I was out on disibility for 2-3 months earlier in the year.

The pain was so bad through out my joints. There are no words that can

describe the pain that I feel.

There are no support in the area of where I live.

I do go on the Arthritis Foundation & speak to others with the same.

It's very difficult coping with this horrible disease.

My Rheumy is great.......My Rheumy is great.......<W

Would just like to talk to others that have this & how the feel & try

to live life on a daily basis.

Regards,

I want to welcome you to the group. I hope you find it as loving and

caring as I do. It is a shame about you diagnosis though.

I hope with your RA medications you can get to remission and stay

there.

Welcome, . This is the most awesome group I have ever been a

part of. Everyone freely shares their experiences and knowledge and it

has made a HUGE difference in my life. I pray you find the same kind

of support and encouragement that I have.......Doreen :)
