Guest guest
Hi Group - just had to share this silly story. I had to have a heart catheterization back in 2006 and was scared out of my mind. When they took me into the room to do the procedure, they gave me some meds they called " conscious sedation " . Then my Cardio said " Everyone ready? I think we can begin " . I yelled out " WAIT!! Am I supposed to be this alert?!? " I was totally freaked out. Thank God my Cardio had a good sense of humor and said " Oh, that's right, she takes a lot of pain meds - give her some more. " And that was the last thing I remembered until they woke me up in recovery. I was worried for nothing, the procedure itself went well, the healing process was uneventful and aside from some mild pulmonary hypertension, there were no blockages and my heart was good. Scared the bejesus out of me to begin with, though.....Doreen
Guest guest
That is a funny story, probably wasn't then but is now. I was afraid that would happen when I had my endoscopy but I don't remember a thing. Thank you Doreen for the kind words, God does have a path already planned for me, I pray He takes all the stairs and and bumps out of the way. I was taking MTX (1ML shot) weekly but the sight of the yellow fluid would make me deathly sick. My wife would even surprise me with the shot, but then the thought of it made me sick and I had to stop taking it. I have been reading about the supplements others are taking and would like to know what helps and what it does. Thank you to the group for all your help. I had an Orencia infusion today and (psychologically) I feel better.
