Guest guest
These things have helped me: 1)Electric mattress pad 2)Electric blanket or throw 3)WARM MUG OF COFFEE or TEA :-) 4)Layer your clothing... sometimes I have 3 layers....If I get warm, I take one off. I found the worst thing I could possibly do is wear a short sleeved shirt and shorts in the winter in my warm home.... I now wear yoga or sweatpants and long sleeved t-s 5)Always wear socks. 6)Gloves or mittens.... even in the house... I wear them in the movie theaters, too! 7)When going out, leave NOTHING uncovered... Wear hat, gloves, scarf... *~ Kami ~* [ ] cold weather and painful joints!! Hi I just wanted to post and say im having a real bad week, the weather has changed here in scotland and its the type of cold that gets right into your bones!! Unfortunately it also flared up my RA, my hips knees and hands have been giving me some serious problems this week, my neck is for the first time in months the least affected!! Ive had problems going up stairs and just doing day to day things as i have no grip when my hands are so sore! So i just wondered if anyone has any tips to surviving the winter with RA! Have a good weekend Sharon xx
