....I was apprvd for ssi because I didnt file for ssdi within 5 yrs of

quitting work so I couldn't get it so they told me. I was stuck with

ssi...which is okay...but nothing in $$$ per month to live on but your meds are

free

and drs appts. They do tend to make you feel like an outcast....drs always

dropping out of the medicaid program for my card...aged blind or disabled. some

things make you feel like that stuff you scrao off the bottom of your shoe. I

worked all my life till the r/a and I'm lumped in like someone who never did

a lick of work in her life.... okay, I digressed.

anyway, wish I could have gotten the ssdi but thankful for what I do have.

Medicare in 5 1/2 yrs for me.
