Guest guest
Hello, My Rheumy has me on tramadol which helps my fatigue. Im also on an antidepressant,I never had a problem with depression until I started to take so many meds. I have noticed that on the day I take my methotrexate I get pretty worn out and tired, but since thats just once a week I can deal with that. I cant answer your disablitly question since Im in Wa state, but here the max amount you can make is $1000/month (I think) to receive any disability. Take care Heidi Washington State > > Hello, > I am wondering about medication for severe fatigue. Is anyone on > anything to get them through the day? Guest guest
Heidi, Your SSDI is based on your work history. I have never heard of a max or a cap on SSDI. I think there is a cap on SSI. When I got approved for SSDI, I tried to get medicaid and I make way too much on SSDI. If I was on SSI and making less then $600/month I could qualify for medicaid. I just have to wait until I can qualify for medicare, grr. SOL, I guess. I have found provigil awesome to help fight the constant fatigue. Hopefully, after my surgery and I am back on remicade, I can re-claim my life back. > > > > Hello, > > I am wondering about medication for severe fatigue. Is anyone on > > anything to get them through the day? Guest guest
a, I think we all get the " you don't look sick " . I get it more since I am young (31). Most people don't know the difference between RA and osteoarthritis...so people are shocked when I tell them that I had to file for SSDI because of " arthritis " . That I am " too lazy " to work and I just want to milk the system for all that I can get. That is coming from my mom's boyfriend. At least we have eachother to lean on for support. > > ....I was apprvd for ssi because I didnt file for ssdi within 5 yrs of > quitting work so I couldn't get it so they told me.
