Yes. It is a very important test. You will probably have one at every eye visit.

I have a question... I have just started plaquinel...They say get an

eye exam..Okay i went and got a eye exam...They dilated my eyes

and I have healthy eyes inside..Now they say come back and get the

visual fields too...Do I need this also??????? diane

Yes, you need to have the visual field study test done once or twice each year

(depending on what your rheumy says). My 1st one said once a year, my new one

says twice. It is very important to have this, so definitely make that appt.

Yes..absolutely. The visual field test was how they determined that I had

" Plaquenil toxicity. "

It' is important, Diane, so please have it done.

Yep, if they say its necessary. If THEY are doctors. I told my eye

doctor I was there for my rheumotolgist wants to know if lyrcia and

plaqenil is affecting my eyes. He did everything I needed for my

rheumy. He knew exactly what to check for.

Sue you are so witty. I am laughing about your last post. About

eating sugar free hard candy for my thirst problem. I have diabetes

the doctor always says use sugar free candy drops haaaaaaaa.
