Yes, that is the sternoclavicular joint, and it can be affected by RA.

I'm glad you'll be going to see your rheumatologist soon. Be sure to mention it.

I was able to find some good information seaching with the correct

name for the joint. I understand why you said be sure to mention it.

I hope it is just inflammation. :)

I am trying really hard to make it to March 19, with no sick time. I

have already had my three incidences in a 12 month period and my

attendance is unsatisfactory!

Not to worry, Shirley!

It's likely due to your RA. It could even be a dislocation.

I'm so sorry you have to worry about feeling well enough to make it to work.
