It just keeps coming- Neurontin questions

Hi all. Well since my rheumys blood test showed my vitamin D at 29 he

tols me to take a supplement and then see how it affects the different

joint pain and such. Well, as you can imagine, I was pretty upset with

that because I am hurting so I made an appointment with my internist

and saw her today. I told her about a new pain I have been having and

some memory issues. I really can't explain the pain. It starts at my

neck and just radiates through my body. I would have it every once in

awhile before and every time I would sneeze but now it has shown up

constantly for abot a month. Anyways she said fibromyalgia. I'm not

sure if I spelled it rght but she said that she is really leaning that

way with everything coming up normal and the pain I am describing and

some thing about pressure points. So, I am now on a drug called

Neurontin. She started me out at 100mg a day since I am so sensitive to

meds and we will see how it affects me and increase from there. So, who

has been or is on this med and what do I expect. Do I expect to feel

better quickly? And what about side effects? She wants me on Lyrica but

said my insurance will require we try this first.
