Re: nodules anyone

Hi,

Just thought I'd say that my husband (no health issues except bad knees, as in

acl reconstructions not arthritis) gets lumps all over him. Now I'm not sure

what kind of nodules you are talking about but his are hardish lumps and they

pop up all over, right now he has one on his leg and on his back along his

spine, on each arm and I'm sure few others we probably haven't noticed yet. His

are called lypoma's. I don't know if it's spelled right but anyways it's

hereditary and they get painful when they grow on top of a nerve and when they

hurt he has them removed. I will say when the doctor removes them he can tell by

looking at them what they are. Just thought I'd mention another reason other

than RA.

Hey everyone,

I recently developed a lump at the end of my elbow and showed it to my

rheumy. He was very concerned and wanted me to see a dermatologist.

I went to see the derm and she came in with a resident they both

looked at my elbow had a discussion about it and then she said she

wanted to have another Dr. take a look at it. She went out and

returned shortly with another Dr. the three of them looked and poked

at my elbow they had a conversation involving many medical terms that

went right over my head and decided that it needed to come off right

then. They took a biopsy and I have to return in two weeks to get the

sutures out and hear the results of the biopsy. The only thing I

really understood is nodule because I have one in my lung. So my

questions is: has any one else had to have something removed? Do

nodules usually hurt? Thanks for your input.

F.

Clora,

My grandma lived with congestive heart failure for over 30 years. She was

diagnosed in her early 40's. I'm glad you are thinking positive now.

Take care,

JAMIE and Group;

Thanks , I don't know how long daddy had CHF. I thought it

was a death sentense at first. I am better educated about it now.

I had no idea one could live so long with CHF.]
