Dear,

I have learned to become an actor of sorts. We all have a little of that in us,

don't we?  Who says you have to   " make noise "   with a clap? The ear to ear

smile bringing your hands together (but not really) but what they see SEE is you

smiling and clapping. Honey, there ain't no Clap Police. It's just the thought

torture we try and sneakily do to ourselves because whoops there ya go-- yet one

more thing this disease has  deprived me of, the simple act of clapping my

appreciation. So don't worry it...Smile  (fake clap) and enjoy the show...theirs

and yours.

Of all the things we deal with ,this seems almost foolish but causes me

embarrasment.

I attended a lovely but quite small dinner theatre. Not applauding was

quite noticable but my hands can not clap. The pain is unbearable. any

suggestions?

This was small enough that after the show I could address the actors

and express my pleasure.

the scenario seems quite prevalent.

Any suggestions on how to appear gracious and appreciative?
