Guest guest
Tawny: The medication for fatigue you are thinking of is called Provigil. The problem is since it is used off-label for fatigue, (it was developed for those with narcolepsy), most insurance companies refuse to pay for it and it is expensive... It costs somewhere in the range of $1200 a month. -- Dodge From acquaintances we conceal our real selves. I don't see how you do it, but I was in your shoes, when I HAD to work. I'm thankful now, I don't have to work. You are right, this condition is emotionally and physically draining. No one really knows, unless they have RA. Some people still just think's of it as, " my grandma has arthritis. " That burns me up, when I hear it! I feel like I'm in a flare every day of my life, and it's taken a toll on my body. There is a med for fatigue if it gets too bad, ask your doctor. Not sure what it's called, you might post on the group, they will let you know the name. When you get off work, take a nice bubble bath, and pamper yourself. You can also try cold or hot packs. You take care, and hope you feel better soon, Tawny
