Guest guest
Tawney and group; Tawney the way they found my CHF was my primary doctor had me take an exray..... I didnt even have to see the pulmonary doctor... The cardiologist doctor gave me a catherization.... THis test is done in the hospital in an operating room and your awake but for most people its just an annoyance... THis test will be able to tell just about anything wrong with the heart and/or lungs... The catherization ruled out athrosclarosis (clogged arteries in the heart) I didnt need a stint... It did tell the doctor I had a enlarged right atrium.. that is when one of the four chambers of the heart are swelled... He also found I had PAH Pulmonary arterial Hypertention.. this is a rare lung disease.. it is caused by the heart unable to pump blood to my lungs therefore my bone marrow sent blood to my lungs... doing so the blood from the bone marrow is very sticky so it clogged up my lung arteries... These are rare and uncommon diseases.. You should not worry... I always say worrying occomplishes nothing... Easier said than done,,, I know,,, If your primary doctor was worried about CHF all he had to do was take a xray thats how he diagnosed mine.. I could be all wrong on everything but this is what I remembered and saw on google lol.. I looked it up afterwards also... Try to calm yourself Tawney... Like I said if it was life threatening they would have you in the hospital now working on you... I hope everything turns out ok.. I pray for you everyday.. God bless you and take care.. gentle hugs Clora ****************************************************** > Clora, > > I have shortness of breath really bad.
