Guest guest
Hi All: I am fairly new to this group. I find that one can sometimes learn more from talking to people than from doctors. I have arthritis in my knees. A couple of weeks ago I over did working on my feet for about 3 days. When I woke up the next morning the pain was so bad that I could not put my weight on my left leg. I have been hobbling around with a walker for about 2 weeks now. Finally for the last 3 days I have been able to get around without the walker but the pain is still really bad especially when I need to get up from a chair. Also, my legs feel like they are really weak and when I walk I compare myself to a toddler who is waddling around about to fall down. I seem to be having trouble with balance also. My legs feel like they cannot pick my feet up high enough to walk normally. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced these kind of symptoms with Arthritis? I don't know if it is Osteoarthritis or another kind, however, I do know that the doctor said that I did have arthritis. I would appreciate any kind of wisdom anyone has to share for treatment etc. Thank you. nne
