Guest guest
Hello Dennis, Group and all the friends : Thanks a lot for your updates and information Predisone. Its good to know 2 things, we are now walking alone and there is lot of people who are sharing their experiences with us.This RA brings all of us together . ( Eventhough it affects my wife and not me, I dont think that makes a difference for me personally). Just to introduce ourselves 1st. We are blessed with 2 kids a boy and a girl. Life had been so smooth until the last 2 months when my wife in late 20's after giving birth to our son started to have problem with inflammation and pain in the early morning. I was and had been always an optimist about what brings out of life. But after the blood examination on the spe 13th life changed totally. Now I am scared of every single side affect I read out of medicines , the future of our kids. May be, we can call it scared unto death.. As i mentioned in the previous mail . My wife's doses are 1.5g Sulfazaline, 400mg plaquenil, 10mg MTX with Calcium, Folic acid, Fish oil and 5mg of Predisone. Now , i start to wonder , why it is my wife.......and the other question, why not she? To my question. Is RA a Gentic disease? do we inherit and pass it on to children. My wife's family had totally no idea of what RA is and i believe she is the 1st one at least in their immediate family....aunt , uncle, cousin, brother, sister , father , mother....and nobody has it. I am not in self pity, just to understand.....is it a genetic disease?? Thanks and regards LL
