Guest guest Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 Clora, I agree with Barbara. Regular old pain pills, no matter how strong, would do nothing for the migraines I used to have. You need a medication designed specifically for migraines. I take two of the older triclyclic anti-depressants to prevent my migraines. I get an occasional very mild one, and Excedrin Migraine will usually take care of it. They are no fun at all, I know. Talk to your PCP.
