advice for a never-ending cold

I am on Leflunomide and Meloxicam for RA (not to mention a host of

other meds for other conditions including high blood pressure,

diabetes, and asthma).

I caught a cold a month ago that just will not go away. I know that

this is not an uncommon problem for those of us on RA drugs, but I'm

wondering if anyone has a more effective holistic approach. My primary

has me on Mucinex for chest congestion and saline nose spray. My goal

is to keep it from turning into bronchitis --> pneumonia (my asthma

leads me this way unfortunately).

I'm just REALLY tired of being sick...runny nose, sneezing, coughing.

My already low energy stores are at rock bottom.

Any suggestions?
