Hi Glenn. If you are taking eleven different types of medication that does

complicate finding the right meal plan that will work best for you. I don't

take meds so I doubt if I can be of much help, but if you post what

medication you are taking there are others in the group who can give you more

information, and links to helpful websites, that can help you learn more

about how different types of medications interact and affect your bgs.

With your heart problems you do need to be careful about finding the type

right exercise. Has your doctor made any recommendations this regard?

Finding a local support group consisting of people with heart problems

similar to yours can help provide you with the info and motivation to develop

a program that will work for you.

You say you try to veggies and fruit. Not all vegetables are right for

diabetics, such as root vegetables (potatoes & beets). Not all fruit is

healthy either. Have you consulted a nutritionist about your diet? Given

your high bgs levels I would say trying is not good enough. The choice is

either change your diet, exercise and perhaps lifestyle or get sicker.

I look forward to hearing more from you.
