Guest guest
Hi Clora - I'm so sorry you are having to deal with another migraine. Has your doctor ever tried you on any of the migraine meds that are out there? I don't think Lortab is going to be the one to do it. Just my opinion, here, but it seems like you need one specifically for migraines. Hope you are feeling better soon.......Doreen > > Hi everyone; > > I have been dealing with a migraine all day. I don't even know what it was haaaaaaa. The doctor ask if someone else was driving, I said yes my husband is in the van waiting. I was almost in tears telling him how bad my head still hurt. I ask them to turn the light out till the doctor comes in. I told the doc I didnt want anymore lortabs cause they didnt help. He changed my blood pressure medicine, benecar. He said it might be causing my migrains to be worse. My C-pap is going to be turned down. He said it may be causing it according to the doctor that checked the paperwork for the sleep study. The nuerologist. He gave me a script for the migrains. I will tell you what it was I have it mailed to me. The woman that sent it out said it was real good medicine for migrains. I got a new script for my high blood pressure (Azor 5mg/40mg) He gave me some free samples. Cant see what the 5 and 40 mgs are. THis pain shot took all the pain I had away even where my knees hurt and my neck and my shoulders woo hoo. I kinda feel a little loopy lol.. Oh My I feel so good right now. Thanks all of you for praying for me. God made me have no pain at all. My back pain is even gone haaaaaaaaaa. Thank all of you for your kind words. Guest guest
Shirley and group; Thanks Shirley. I got up this morning and about 2 hours later the migraine started. I took 2 of the lortabs. Not suppost to take 2 suppose to take 1. But 1 wont help. I will get my new ones in a few days in the mail. I think it's called Fiorcet. I got up about 2 am screaming cause when I moved my kneww it was ecruciating pain. My husband yelled don't move it. So I stopped. He said I could of been laying funny while I was asleep and pulled some tendons and when I woke up it was hurting. I finally able to move it and get out of bed. I felt drunk. I think it was from the shot. I staggered to the bathroom and went back to bed. I don't drink alcoholic beverages so it had to be the shot. When I got up this morning I felt like he**. I guss the pain shot came down hard on me. It's 3 pm now I feel ok. It was a long morning. That pain shot must of been powerful. I am not complaining it felt good not to have pain anywhere. Yes its about time he listened, He has been treating these migraines almost a year now. Its my fault I should have went in more often about them. I feel pretty good today. Can't say that very often. I believe God is working in my life. God has lead me to everywhere I needed to be to stop my pain. I believe he lead me to this group. Well you take care. I love to read all your posts. Your always comforting everyone. gentle hugs Clora ************************************************************** > Clora, > I am so happy that you are not in pain. Yipee! Guest guest
Debbie L and group; Thanks so much Debbie for your heart felt words. Yes my doc is really working to find out what is causeing the migraines and I am grateful for that. When He finds out what is triggering them, I can quit another drug. Yes I will post all my progress for the support group. I got to find the number for the c-pap people to come out and change the settings cause I don't know how. I felt great last night lol. I was so loopy. I don't like feeling loopy, but it was worth it to get rid of the migraine for a few hours. gentle hugs Clora ************************************************************* > Hi Clora, > > Thst's great you received a pain shot to help your migraine.
