Guest guest
Hi Tawny I'm really glad you posted about your toes I've had the disease 15 years and my toes are starting to be affected now - deformed, bunions etc. I have had to start wearing boring 'sensible shoes' now (forever) and oh the horror!! After having had a hip replacement you'd think that bad toes would be a doddle, but no - maybe it's because us gals love our shoes?! Thanks for the post, in NZ (aka Bunion foot)
Guest guest
, Thanks for understanding, we do love our shoes! I use to wear high heels, wedges, and have my sandals in the summer. I usually wear flip- flops around the house. Hey, my puppies love them, lol I do find shoes without the backs are best for me. They have some cute ones. I have huge bunions, and I guess that is related to RA. My joints are huge! My knuckles are also so big in the two joints, so they look kind of funny. The last time I saw my rheumy, she asked how I was. I get tired of saying, the same old routine, so I said, " ok " she then asked why my hands look so big. My elbow is now going out on me. I can't even lift a glass, so another thing to worry about. Oh well, were still going, slowly but moving. You take care, and I wish you some good days, Tawny(Hey, another bunion foot here, lol)

Guest guest
a, I'm the same way. You can't really wear dresses when you have no shoes to wear. Then, you see everyone on TV wearing heels. It's just a rude awakening how things change. It is hard to find a nice pair of shoes. I love boots too, and know way I can get into those nice heel boots. Oh well, Tawny
Guest guest
I wish Liz Claiborn would make some arthritic shoes for just us gals! I love sandals. My feet almost feel free to do their roaming. Of course toes one direction, foot in the other and spilling over the sides now. Guest guest
Sue, Yes, dresses do look nice with sandals. It's really hard for me to wear sandals. I will check out Walmart next time. I've bought so many shoes, then I usually can't wear them. Tawny

Guest guest
Sue, I will check, they have a BIG sell out, and I might just find a pair. I had two funerals to go to last month, and I had to wear my uncomfortable shoes. I'm sure very comfty for normal feet, but not mine. Enjoy your evening, Tawny
