Guest guest
Hello Dennis, Yes suspect your sleeplessness is a steroid side effect. In some it just causes the mind to overwork and not rest, but for a few folks there is a very disturbing, distressing feeling of mind racing and agitation and worry, even sometimes a 'steroid psychosis'. I remember one patient (not taking the steroid for RA) reporting that he had been moved to get up in the early hours and paint his kitchen door blue! Both he and his wife saw the funny side! His experience was not unlivable with as the steroid was giving him benefits, but some people can't tolerate steroids even for short term gains.
