Guest guest
Hi , Glad you are here! I'm sorry you are having a horrible night. Do you have a heating pad you could use, or maybe take a long hot shower or soak in a hot bathtub? Sometimes I just light a candle and watch a funny movie. I'm also experiencing the tingling and numbness. I saw the neurologist yesterday. I may have Raynauds , or it could be a reaction to Topomax so to test it, I have to decrease 1 pill a day for a few weeks. But when my hands get cold, they are going pale, then when they warm up, they get tingly, to numb, to a total loss of feeling for about 30 to 40 seconds. When they warm up they turn a lovely shade of red. My nose gets really cold and heels go numb. Does this sound like what's happening to you? In any case, I'm glad you found your way here. When will you see your Dr. next? Try to take things one day at a time and know that you are not alone..... Hugs and Smiles Heidi in Mass... In a message dated 11/1/2008 9:55:20 P.M. Guest guest
, I am so sorry that you are having such a painful time. I don't have fibro, but I have seen how my daughter suffers with it. I hope you are feeling better soon. Shirley > > I have fibromyalgia and am having a horrible night. I ache like crazy > and yet I also have this weird numbness and tingling in all sorts of > places. Guest guest
Hi - I am so sorry to hear you are having such a horrible night with your FMS. How many milligrams and how often are you taking the Neurontin? I also take it and it has helped the FMS flares really good. You may need an adjustment to the dosage. Please call your doctor right away in the morning. You do not have to suffer in such pain. Has your doctor given you anything to take for the pain? Try a heating pad - moist heat works best if you have a way to do it. Hang in there, dear one. I pray you are able to find some comfort and ease of pain in order to sleep. Keep us posted. I care............Doreen > > I have fibromyalgia and am having a horrible night. I ache like crazy > and yet I also have this weird numbness and tingling in all sorts of > places.
