Guest guest
I have that reaction and was told I am allergic. Please call Physician. Do you have hives? blotches? You may need benadryl. You may be allergic to medicine or to the adhesive. Good luck.... I wondered if it's a coincidence or has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any input, Elaine
Guest guest
Elaine; I used a smoking patch to quit smoking and it made me itch also. I really needed help with the smoking patch to quit. Guest guest
I usually itch the first night, however the benefit outweighs the discomfort. I put a new one on every three days or so. Guest guest
My directions for my Lidoderm patches are to wear one for 12 hours and then not wear one for the next 12 hours. What kind do you have? Sue On Saturday, November 1, 2008, at 06:23 PM, Jana Powers wrote: > I usually itch the first night, however the benefit outweighs the > discomfort. Guest guest
Hi Sue, I use Fentanyl patches. They work and I can tell when they are starting to wear off. I don't wear them all the time, just during a flare, which seems to be most of the time. Don > I usually itch the first night, however the benefit outweighs the > discomfort. Guest guest
Hi Marla - I am allergic to adhesives too, so pain patches are not an option for me. I remember when I had to have emergency surgery 10+ years ago, they came in the next day to remove the dressing and check the incision. I had blisters that were almost 1/2 inch high. That's when I realized just how allergic to adhesives I am. The blisters hurt worse than the incision.............Doreen > > I have.
