Guest guest
Elaine and group; HI hon. I do the same thing Elaine when I get up in the mornings. I put a redflag on all the post I want to comment on. and go to next post to read. YOu must be out of USA to be sleeping while we are up or you work at night. I dont' know if you need your eyes checked for those meds. You should ask your doctor and see your eye doctor right away. I wouldn't have high blood pressure if I could lose weight, it's like a losing battle for me. So you don't have any side affects from prednisone. I get all the side affects from it. I only took it a few times too. I will write down for my rheumy for water therapy for next visit. I would like it even if it didnt help. I love being in water up to my shoulders. The bath is no help. Thanks for texting me. I hope and pray you have pain freee days. God bless and take care. gentle hugs Clora *********************************************************** > > Hi Clora > > I may be thousands of miles away but I promise I read every post on the list. The first thing I do every day is switch on the computer and check my emails - and there are always loads from the group as you've all been busy typing whilst I've been asleep. > > I'm taking diclofenac, methotrexate, sulfasalazine - amongst others - don't know if any of these can affect eyesight, but I had perfect eyesight a year ago and now it's distinctly fuzzy! > > So pleased your doctor is doing something to sort your migraines out - they must be horrible. I'm so lucky that I don't have high blood pressure - every female on my mother's side of the family apart from me has problems with this. And I've recently been given the all clear for osteoporosis - that was a relief given how many years I've been taking prednisolone > > Be sure to talk to your rheumy about water therapy; there are some ladies who go to the same pool as me and just walk in the water or do various exercises. I usually swim 5 days a week. My other friends with arthritis swim there too and we are all convinced that it's helping us. The best bit is gossiping in the jacuzzi after we've finished our swim though! >
Guest guest
Hi Clora and list, I'm in the UK (and it's sooooo cold here this week!), so I tend to get most of the list mails arriving through the night. Have to admit that my doctor did tell me to go for an eye test but I've kept putting it off; I must get organised and book it. Main side effect I got from prednisolone was the dreaded weight gain! I had a course of it a couple of weeks ago and straightaway I was starving hungry and heading for the chocolate. (I have no will power). I hope this will make you smile; I saw my GP today and he tells me that he's offering body transplants and would I like one - I have to choose if I want to be a blonde or brunette! I told him I'll be a petite blonde please - that will be a change from the dark haired nearly six footer that I am at the moment! I love having a doctor who tells me a joke every time I'm see him; it brightens my day. Hope everyone has a pain free and happy weekend, Elaine Elaine and group; HI hon. Guest guest
Elaine, As soon as I can get across the big pond I would like your doctor's name, so that I can pick out a new body too. Guest guest
Elaine and group; I thought so. I am chatting with my friend in the uk now. She came to the USA to meet me several months ago. Her and her husband. THey stayed at my house for 3 days. They visited their friend in Georgia for a few weeks. Made my house a stop over in South Carolina. It was wonderful to meet them in person. Yes she told me they had snow there. I know prednisone makes me so hungry too. I can't take it cause I need to lose weight and prednissone makes food I don't like taste good haaaaaaaaaaaa. My doctor wouldn't give me anymore medicine till I got my eyes checked. You can bet I went that week haaaaaaaaaaa. My eyes was fine so she gave me my meds (plagunil). Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa yes I hear that body transplants. I saw a movie like that once. It's called frankenstiene. lol.. My rheumy doesnt chat with me at all except for what I am there for. She is indian. She give me derections for my meds twice every visit. Pretty lady. gentle hugs Clora ************************************************************ > > Hi Clora and list, > > I'm in the UK (and it's sooooo cold here this week!), so I tend to get most of the list mails arriving through the night. > > Have to admit that my doctor did tell me to go for an eye test but I've kept putting it off; I must get organised and book it. > > Main side effect I got from prednisolone was the dreaded weight gain!
