No problem, Shirley, you let me know when you are coming over and I'll get you

put on his waiting list!!

Elaine

Elaine,

As soon as I can get across the big pond I would like your doctor's

name, so that I can pick out a new body too.

That would be great to get a new body,, however; would we do to the new

body what we did to the old one, also we would have to make a drastic

life change to keep them looking new. I would be very interested in

one. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I will take 2 just in case .

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Me, too. I want to trade in my 69-year-old body for a 25-year-old one

with no diseases. And while they're at it, I'll take a better figure

and better legs than these bird legs that my present body came with.

LOL.

Elaine;

Wow you are so funny.   I am so glad we have another nutty person here other

than me.  Look at whose being greedy haaaaaaaaaaaa.  Afraid you wont get yours

before I get my second one.

I only want 2 so I will have a spare haaaaaaaaa.  You never know someday it may

be done.  When I was a kid it was unknown for heart transplants and people would

complain that the government and doctors are playing God. Elaine I love your

goofyness haaaaaaaaa. I see your a nutty nurse to.

Now we are saying we don't need it in heaven give it to someone who does.

Right?  Not that it's right but thats what was said back in the 50s.

All kidding aside.  I will get a new body someday when I die I will be out of

the body and in the presence of the lord with a NEW BODY  woo hoo.

This is not meant to offend anyone I just want to tell of the good times coming

for me.

Hi all,

I feel the need to chime in on the body transplant talk. My

daughter, Heidi, is a lucky recipient of a new liver, stomach, small

bowel and pancreas. I would rather put up with the body I have, even

if it hurts everyday, than to go through what she has. I don't mean

to put anyone down and I know it is a joke, but it is so much easier

said than done. I also have to add in, " don't take your organs to

Heaven, God knows we need them here. "

Please don't take this the wrong way. I just needed to add my 2

cents about transplantation. I am all for joking around. Laughter

really is the best medicine.

I really am not upset about this. Don't worry about me. Just wanted

to promote organ donation and talk about my little girl.

Lori,

I hope Heidi does well with her new organs, and that she has a

strong and healthy life.

All of my family has organ donor on our drivers license. We know

that so many people are in desperate need of organs.

My great-niece was killed at the age of 2 by a live-in boyfriend and

all of her little organs were donated. It was a hard decision for my

nephew, I am so proud of him for making the right one.

**ROFLOL** Diane - If you find a way to speed up that body transplant,

please let me know. I've been telling my sister I want one for years

and she has yet to find me one. I'll keep my mind - as fogged as it

gets at times - I figure I've earned all of the knowledge that I've

got stored somewhere up there and only need the body..........Doreen :D

Dear Lori - Oh My! What a time your daughter has had of things. Thank

God for the organ donors out there who have given your daughter a new

lease on life. I am listed on my driver's license as an organ donor. I

just hope that when its my time to go, this RA/FMS hasn't ruined

everything that I would have had to give.

Thank YOU for being understanding of our little joke. I am grateful

that you understand we were not intending to be disrespectful of all

you and your daughter have gone through. My prayers are that Heidi

continue to heal and not reject her new organs. I think I will stick

to keeping this old defective body just so the good organs can go to

others like your daughter....................Doreen :)

Thank you to all who have said they are donors. Heidi's transplant

was 7 years ago and her body has accepted her new organs well,

although things could change at any time. Thanks for the well wishes

for her and the support you have all given me so far. I can relate

to all of the immunosupresed comments that have been made. Heidi

will be on those meds for the rest of her, hopefully long, life.
