Guest guest
I am not endorsing any candidate, nor do I think politics should be discussed here but I do want to let everyone know about Voting options. I believe that the Voting turnout in the United States is going to be the highest ever in US history. Since I never know what type of day I am going to have I went to my courthouse and was able to vote absentee.Believe it or not there were 15 people in line while I was there. My RA is in my neck and spine so standing in long lines is near impossible for me. Each State has there own rules but in MS you can vote absentee if you are 65 or over, disabled or going to be out of town. Before you go be sure to find out the cut off date and regulations. In my State, you can vote until the weekend before the election. I do not know if that is Federal or State law. I thought I would pass this on in case others would benefit from it. jeana
Guest guest
I totally agree with you. I knew I could not handle line and mailed in my ballot this week. This disease deprives us of a lot. It should not deprive us of our right to vote. Please plan ahead. Guest guest
My state, North Carolina, along with many others, also have early voting. I'm just going to wait, though, because where I vote there are usually no lines at all. I'd be thrilled to see a line, in fact. Guest guest
Hi Jeana - thanks for the info. My hubby and I have been voting via absentee ballot for a couple of years now. Its worth the postage just to not have to stand in line..........Doreen > > I am not endorsing any candidate, nor do I think politics should be > discussed here but I do want to let everyone know about Voting > options. > > I believe that the Voting turnout in the United States is going to > be the highest ever in US history.
