Alternative therapies & continued pain over ear

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has tried those electric impulse divices?

Some versions have been sold a cheats way of building up muscle,

however others are for pain relief & repair of damaged tissue etc.

A friend of mine who has carpal tunnel bought one (au$340.00) &

has mostly good feedback on it. She's been sleeping well since she

got it, except for last night anyway. She's only had it for a week

mind. She ran it on my wrist & hand for a few cycles just so I know

what it feels like (a slightly zappyish vibration).

Has any used or uses something similar? The one she has is Logistim

tn11.

Also, I wrote a few weeks ago about the gland over my right

ear that's been going up & down a fair bit. It's not swollen at the

moment but I still have the feeling that is is mildly inflamed, it's

very constant mild ache. Has anyone experienced problems with their

glands? My GP just keeps saying it's a virus.

I've also been getting gas like pain on my right side of my abdomen

that radiates to my back for the last 5 days. I know I should just

see the doc but I don't want to be labelled a hypochondriac , plus

the GP finishes up in 3 days anyway & he's a bit of a quack who wants

too much for each visit ( & no bulk billing)
