SSDI and Medicare

Does anyone know how long you have to wait after being approved for

SSDI before you can get Medicare? Will they notify you when you're

eligible or should I start the process?

I am not saying when you will get it (ok). I saying when I got mine

they put me right on medicare cause it took 3 years of waiting to get

approved of disability. I meant to say if some one has waited to get

approved 2 years they can get their medicare right then when they set

you up. they did me. It just took them 3 years to make up their minds

for me to get SSD and I got the medicare then cause of the time you

wait for approval is counted as the time waiting to get the medicare.

Now does that makes sence.

I don't know how long it can take to get SSD. I hope you got a

lawyer. If you do than he should know if your ellegible for it. A

lawyer will know all the pros and cons of disability.

It's so sad people have to wait so long to get their SSD. My brother

and sister only waited 6 to 9 months and got theirs and I was in a

lot worse shape they was in at the time,,, and I had to wait 3 years

or more. I hope I am not depressing you.

I feel so bad that you have to suffer like this. It makes me so

angry when someone can't get what is owed to them from the

government. You will get it Doreen,,, I don't know why our SSD

government is so fickled about giving people thier disability

benefits.

I know you need your medical so bad. You have to suffer needlesly

because of something so stupid as them not being abble to make up

their minds to help you. I pray that God will move on these people

to help you and to pay you all the back that you have done with out

in Jesus Holy name I pray amen.

Hold on just a little Longer I see it coming. I am putting your name
