Guest guest
Becky, when I first started Enbrel I would also get terrible headaches. My solution is to take my shot just before bedtime. I have been lucky enough to wake up in the morning with no headaches since I started this. Good luck! > > > > > Does anyone have experience with migraines? Guest guest
I have migraines all the time. I take Excedrin -- it's the only thing that works for me. If it doesn't seem to be working, I take it with a beer. Then it always works. -- Jan O', Alaska.

I take 2 Peptizyde (all strong proteases) inbetween meals about three times a day (mid-morning, mid afternoon, before bed), and I take 1 Peptizyde with meals particularly if they have casein. So if I am eating one of those, or a lot of sugar, I use No-Fenol enzyme [and add GSE if appropriate] and my headache will either not happen or be small enough to handle. Guest guest
I would like to thank everyone for help with the migraines, I still have it but, it's back further, sucker is still hanging in waiting. I take 900mg of mag a day should I try more? I haven't received my shipment of no-fenol yet, so we'll try that next time.. BV Re: migraines Migraines can be a symptom of magnesium deficiency. It's my whole head, but especially the neck area and behind the eyes.... For me, this is an EXACT description of my headaches when I eat meat containing nitrates, or if I have a yeast issue. No-Fenol does not help me with nitrates but it might help you. I use GSE for yeast. Good luck. Dana

Guest guest
Barbara and group; AWE it is so good to hear from you Barbara. You always jump in when some one is suffering and try to console them. And your very good at it too. I got an appointment to see my doctor tomorrow for that and other things too. My primary doctor has been trying to fix my migrains for almost a year now. Maybe he should send me to a specialist, if they have specialists for migrains. I wonder if a neruologist specialize in migrains. You know how bad a migraines is I see. I have tried a lot of different methods to help them. Darken the room helps a lot. And heat on my neck helps, taking pain meds as soon as they come on helps. So I know pretty much what to do. If anyone else has any ideas, please let me know. They have been hurting me for about 7 months, everyday/ 24/7 unless I take something to stop it. I havent read anywhere where they last that long. Of course they stop on their own but that only last for about 7 hours. I got up this moring migrain free and after about an hour one begin to start. So I immideatly took a lortab. It is not hurting now. That is unusual. Maybe the hot pad helped also, and the dark room. I take my humira shot friday. I get them every 2 weeks, but if I feel an infection or coming coming on I can't take it. Everyone learns that when they get the prescription for humira. Thank you Barbara I love your post also. Yes hon, I know you love everyone, that is a beautiful quality of people. It seems like sometimes people who has a painful disease other painful diseases want to creep in. RA and migrains are the worst for me. The osteo and bursitis is bad but the ra and migraines hurt me the most. The RA is controlled by the humira thank God. I have flares but that is to be expected. Your a kind and sweet person Barbara and I love you to hon. God bless and take care gentle hugs Clora *************************************************************** > > Hi Clora: > > I feel just awful you are suffering with those nasty migrains.
