Guest guest
Clora, A few years ago, I could have worn a mask, gloves, and a hazmat suit and STILL have gotten sick from whatever it was that was going around. Heck... I didn't even have to go OUT! Strange as this may sound..... I firmly believe that getting on the right track with a correct diagnosis and the medication has HELPED my immune system..... As for your Humira injection, please call your rheumy or PCP's office tomorrow and see if they want to treat you for a cold so there is no further need to delay your injection. Gentle hugs, *~ Kami ~* Re: [ ] Re: REVIEW - Immunization of patients with RA with anti-TNF therapy and MTX Kami and group; That's so true. Last June I was in the hospital for pneumonia I said but, I had the pneumonia shot. He said. " They don't always work. " I thought haaaaa why take it. It may have been worse if I hadn't taken it I guess. I wasn't on any TNF blockers. Unless plaqunil is one. I am still glad I took it. Especially the flue shot every time if I get the flue it would not last as long or be as bad. Now I don't know cause I am taking Humira Injections. said that was a TNF Blocker. Talking about our meds. I haven't taken my humira injection yet. I feel like I have a sinus cold. I am waiting to see if it clears up. I got a flue shot Thursday. I think its just the after affect from the flue shot. My daughter has a sinus infection and she lives with us. So I am waiting. Well Kami we will see hon I pray neither one of us gets the flue. Guest guest
Not tired of you at all.... I just want to see you feeling better. I know how much better I feel just by moving my injection up two days..... If I had to WAIT 2 days, I would be miserable. Guest guest
Kami and group; Awe hon I was kidding. Someone said it was OK to wait a few days. I wanted to wait anyway cause my injection date is the same as my day I get the meds. They send the humira every 2 weeks. Not a lot at once. So I figure a cold was a good reason to have my day a week after I get my humira from now on. I would have called the doctors anyway. But I am feeling better already, only you know how that is. feel OK now and than sick again tomorrow haaaaaaaaa. I am old to this. love ya gentle hugs Clora :******************************************* From: ~ Kami ~ <kamilleon@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Sickness and delayed Humira injection Date: Sunday, November 2, 2008, 5:49 PM Not tired of you at all....
