Guest guest Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 Dear Team: Rheumy had prescribed my wife to take 5mg of Pred for the last 4 weeks and asks her to continue further. I had read that its a evil drug, causes mood swings and more side effects than any other drug. Any comments , is it 5mg considered a high dose?? Note: We live in malaysia ( Anybody want to know about this Country please ask me). My wife was dx on Sep 13th ( last month ). As of now , Her drugs are 400mg Plaquenil, 3 Fish oil capsules, 1.5g Sulfasailine , 10mg of MTX, Calcium Supplements with Folic acid supplements.
