Hi Sharyn

Great news about your son, I'm very happy for you, hope things will go on

like that for good, as I hope for all who suffer from OCD & other disorders

to be good too & go to normal life.

Hi Sharyn,

In knowing how awful this ugly thing we call OCD is for my child, and knowing

how worrisome it is to me the parent, I'm always delighted to hear of others

having combated this monster, if even for a weekend. Good luck to even

better days in the future. I wish your son well.

First I want to thank all of you for your wonderful messages when I was so

down about RA. You are all great people!!!

I started methotrexate and decreased my sulfasalazine from 2 pills twice a

day to one pill twice a day last week. I was worried about side effects

from the mtx, but I really didn't have any. I only had some very minor

nausea.

This past weekend I was able to ride my horse for drill team on Saturday and

go on a BEAUTIFUL trail ride on Sunday. I was tired after each activity,

but not completely fatigued. I have also been allowing myself to take naps

when I feel tired. Before I would feel like that was giving in, but now I

just realize that's what my body needs.

I still have quite a bit of pain in my hands and elbows, but I feel I can

work through the pain.

So ... I just wanted to share my thanks and some good news about this past

weekend.

I hope everyone else is doing well!!

HUGS

Hi KD: Such wonderful news, and so happy you were able to have such a

great time this weekend.

I am glad you are able to take the MTX, and only have slight

nausea. That is good news too.

It is good you realize your body needs to rest and take naps. It

is an important key while managing our RA. I too hated to give into the

tiredness, but soon realized how much I needed to rest and nap.

Wishing you more good days, and that you will be pain free soon.

Hugs,

Barbara
