Guest guest
Sharon; Why on earth would you make a trade like that lol. Well I know nothing is really free haaaaaaa. But everyone can get it right. I couldn't get health insurance in my country. The last time I applied they said I was to over weight. And now with all my medical problems they would all turn me down. Awe thanks Sharon. But that's the only way I could get insurance was to apply for medicare disability, otherwise I could have worked (maybe) for many more years. In fact most of the civilized countries has " free " medical insurance accept USA. We have each others shoulders to cry on though. Oh it only takes one snake bite to die. Or survive a near death bite. We have rattlers, gosh I can't think of the rest. Ireland don't have snakes we need to find out their secret lol. hugs Clora From: bon_mac18 <bon_mac18@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Nails Date: Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 1:18 AM Clora & group, No we don't have skunks, we swapped them for the world's 11 deadliests snakes Yes we do get free medical care here. We get charged through our tax (when we put in our returns). If we are single & earn more than $50,000 we pay an extra 1% medicare levy & if you are a couple/family you can earn up to $100,000 before the levy hits. We get a 30% rebate on private health insurance if we choose to have it & we are exempt from paying the levy. If you don't get private health insurance before you are 30, your private health premium goes up 2% for every year you have not had it (if you are born before a certain year you are excempt though). In Queensland ( & Tasmania & believe) we also pay (through our power bill) an ambulance levy of about $22 a month, so we also do not have to worry about an ambulance bill in an emergency. Every time I read someone from USA talking about insurance, Disability & your medicare I'm literally gobsmacked. I can't believe how hard it is for all of you. We really are the " lucky country " (((group))) Sharon > > Sharon and group; > > I am glad also that it was you left index finger. It will probably grow right unless it is deformed now. There may not be a deformity looking at it. It could be inside where you can't see it. > > I hope you had it x-rayed. If no insurance than I understand . So many people are with out insurance in The USA. God bless hon and take care > > Not me I had a pet skunk lol, it was descent-ed. I didn't know there was no skunks in Australia. I think everyone has medical Insurance in Australia too. > > gentle hugs > Clora > > > > > >
