Guest guest
, It's very interesting that you brough up the GT's Kombucha and itching. I have severly broken out in rashes that ITCH!!!! One friend thought it was chiggers...another says poison ivy. But...since I am not in a position right now to make my own kombucha, I have been buying and drinking the GT's raw kombucha (regular flavor). It is possible that detoxing would cause intense itching? It is possible that detoxing would cause intense >itching? Kombucha is no joke! It is seriously detoxifying...Especially strong homemade kombucha. If I drink too much my mercury symptoms flare up and I feel miserable the next day, but it hasn't caused many symptoms besides mental ones for me. Too much is 2 cups a day, 1 cup a day of very sour tea seems to agree with me though. I have been drinking it nearly daily for over a year now and I'm not dead yet so I would so its still pretty safe. You might want to heed the advice of NT and try beet kvass until the symptoms from drinking kombucha lessen. -
Guest guest
> My husband is starting to get teh rashes...so I am doubtful that >they are kombucha-related...BUT, I am interested to know IF the >rashes/severe itching COULD be detoxification? It most certainly could be. I've read there are certain toxins that can only get out of our body through our skin, so it could very well be something like that. Though I think a sauna would help you sweat them out easier than your body could get them out on its own. I'm pretty sure my best friend detoxifies with rashes and itchiness, as she gets some of the same symptoms that I get but rashes and itchiness on top of that. Different bodies handle toxins very differently, depending on what organs are the strongest and what systems are functioning the best. The body does some wierd stuff sometimes after getting real nutrition after a lifetime of a Standard American Diet. -
