Guest guest
Doc: I have heard that there is some correlation between body weight and Diabetes. This is prevalent, on my fathers side of the family, and as I start to move toward middle age, (Heard on the TV the other day that this would happen at about 80), should I start being concerned. If indeed weight plays an important factor, how does body fat or fitness level play into the equation? Thanks JoeL Nutrition Resources Here is a huge collection of citations in the world of nutrition research: <http://www.nlm.nih.gov/pubs/cbm/nutritionsummit.html< Dr Mel C Siff Denver, USA mcsiff@... Hi lisa: If you read any or all of the four volumes of " The Albrecht Papers " , you will come to realize that nutrition is primarily a product of soil fertility, not the genetics of the plant. Weston Price must have learned this from Albrecht to better understand what he had seen in the healthy groups of people that he studied eating various diets in various places. Price included a chapter by Albrecht and the forward to the supplement was written by Albrecht in NAPD. " Soil Grass and Cancer " by Andre Voisin demonstrates direct relationships between the health of animals and man with the mineral balance of the soil. You will come to view the standard nutritional studies differently if you read these books. Chi
