Guest guest Posted March 23, 2002 Report Share Posted March 23, 2002 I am new to this group. I am 52, still getting my periods every 28 days. I started to have very heavy bleeding ( big clots) days 2 & 3 of my period. I also have had frequent urination for some time . I went to my internists for a phsyical exam, and she had a sonogram done then. It showed I think, 3 fibroids and lining of uterus not thick. I made an appointment to go to a new gynec (mine retired) for this week. They are going to do a endometrial biopsy . My blood work has come back normal. ....(no anemia) and also showing low estrogen, and hormone levels approaching menopause. I do have dull groin pain from time to time. I was wondering if any of you in the group can guide me toward questions to ask....tests to request etc. I am grateful to have found you.
