What I thought was funny is that they referred to him as " the

respected Dr. Barrett, " as if he was in some position of

prestige and honor rather than being the operator of a sensationalist

web site with an ideologically specific readership.

Barrett is largely a joke, in my book. I emailed him years ago when I

took issue with his criticisms of acupuncture. The acupuncture

meridians have been clearly mapped using measures of skin conductivity

and electromagnetic field activity. They are simply a fact, on the

energy level. He didn't know this, and made a fool of himself with

his publicly-posted reply. Without my permission, he posted my email

on his webpage along with a reply that did not address the question I

raised.
