Guest guest
Hey, Marcus. I was in Queensland for Christmas of 85' and it was blistering hot. I live in the San Francisco area of California and it's not freezing here in the winter but at least it is winter! Ha! It was such an odd thing when I was there to be walking around Sydney in my shorts, sweating and baking in the sun seeing Christmas decorations on trees looking as if they were about to either melt or burst into flames! I did, however, enjoy my time in Australia. Spent Christmas day in Brisbane with my uncles at their place. Loved Australia very much. Have you ever climbed Ayres Rock or is this something just dumb tourist do? I did it at 7am since it was 110 degrees at Yulara during the day.... Anyway, it is about 60 degrees in the SF area in CA now; sunny and very pleasant. We had some rain a couple weeks ago and all the weeds are on the rise in my yard! Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and I wish all of you a very happy New Year.
