Yes, this does make sense, but sometimes the choices we make do not

always make sense. It's great that you and others on this list have

been able to condition yourselves to adhere to strict testing and

watching what you eat. Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with

this quality. Hopefully, some of your motivation will rub off on me.

For now though, for my situation, I need a diet plan or WOE that is

simple for me to follow and contains a wide range of foods to satisfy

my need for variety in my meals; otherwise, I will not be able to

stick with it regardless of the dangers to my health.

If I had that ability, I never would have gotten overweight in the

first place, since I have always known that I would get diabetes if I

let my weight get out of hand as both my parents and grandparents all

have diabetes. Roxanne in WA
