You can go to lymestrateties and

ask there. You don't have to have lyme to join, someone was posting

about salt/c curing a bad case of skin eruptions.

What's SCD-legal mean?

If that's the one on the Radiant Life site it contains spirulina. I

can't seem to find a pure powder amla source except in capsules. I

just found what appears to be a pure amalaki powder at

banyonbotanicals.com. Can anyone comment on the amla vs amalaki?

What's the problem with spirulina? I won't take my brand (Pure Planet

bought from Radiant Life) if spirulina is bad.

It's not allowed if you are following SCD (Specific Carbohydrate

Diet) because it contains polysaccharides as do all sea vegetables

as I understand it. If you are not on SCD or having difficulty with

carb digestion, I don't think it's a problem.

Would acerola powder not be SCD legal? I guess I need to stop using it if

that's the case. :-/

There's nothing inherently wrong with acerola powder -- it's from

cherries, after all. The problem is that NOW currently puts

maltodextrin in their acerola powder. If there are SCD-legal acerola

supplements out there, that'd be great, but I'm not aware of them.

Oh. Yuck. That must be new. I've got an old jar and it has nothing but

acerola in it.
