If I may, one caveat to this advice.

If you do some digging on websites about how to 'induce you own miscariage,'

high doses of Vitamin C are usually the first thing recommended. The dose

recommended is often 4g a day or more. So I'd recommend avoiding high doses

of Vitamin C until after the first 9-12 weeks. There is also some evidence

that high doses of Vitamin C in the end of pregnancy can also incease

post-patum hemmorage and blood loss, although it's been a long time since I

read about that so I don't remember the specifics. This information came

from a hands-off type midwife, so I'd recommend looking into it before

starting high doses in pregnancy.
