Hello!

I have raw milk that was " milked " a week ago.

Can I still start Kefir in it today?

If not, what can I do with it? I hate to just throw it out. :-(

Thank you!

Never throw raw milk out! It does not go bad, it can get sour but

then you can just let it seperate and you will have whey and something

like cottage cheese. I've had milk for 2 weeks in the fridge and it

didn't even taste sour.

You can start kefir anytime, even if it is starting to sour. It will

work fine...as long as you use real kefir grains and not the powder

kefir starter that they sell.
