Guest guest
I use Himalayan as well as Celtic and they both have the same minerals. Himalayan is mined and Celtic comes from the sea. So, some argue that there are less toxins in the Himalayan because the seas have become polluted. Other than that I like them both except Himalayan is prettier because it is pink and pink is my favorite color! LOL Allyn PRIORITY INVESTMENTS N' KOLLATERAL,INC. Guest guest
Yes, I get mine online. You can get it fine, course or in large chunks which they sell to make sole (pronounced solay) which is dissolved salt which you take a teaspoon first thing in the morning. I guess it ranges from very light pink to darker pinks. One site had blue Himalayan salt. I don't know about that but the stuff I buy is light pink in the fine ground and various shades in the chunks. Allyn PRIORITY INVESTMENTS N' KOLLATERAL,INC. I found sites that extolled the virtues of both but they all had something to gain as they sold the stuff. I wanted some non-biased feedback. Guest guest
And pink would be easier to see on most foods so you'd know when you had enough salt on it. Plus doesn't the Himalayan come dry whereas the Celtic comes moist? Dry would be a definite plus. >I use Himalayan as well as Celtic and they both have the same minerals. >Himalayan is mined and Celtic comes from the sea. Guest guest
Well, I guess the same would hold true for Celtic sea salt but most places we find info on it is on a site where they are selling it, We know from WAP that salt should be in it’s raw form with as many naturally occurring minerals (hopefully up to 84) as possible. So therefore, as far as I can go on this, is that Himalayan fits the bill. I have also purchased red sea salt from Hawaii but didn’t really feel the need to have scientific research done on it. It is raw, unadulterated salt with 80 or so minerals, hence a good salt. Just my opinion. Allyn PRIORITY INVESTMENTS N' KOLLATERAL,INC.
