Guest guest
Hello, everyone! I've just now finished a 1-gallon tub of Tropical Traditions virgin coconut oil. I know a lot of people have said TT isn't the best but I was quite happy with it. I have had this tub for over three years (!) and it was excellent to the very last drop that I used today. It was unrefined, even had a little brown coconut pulp or residue at the very bottom. It was perfect for cooking, eating, and as a skin moisturizer, having the perfect amount of clean coconut smell. It came in a " High quality food-grade HDPE non-leaching plastic " tub and it did not taste the slightest bit plasticky, although milk in HDPE jugs can taste plasticky to me so it could have been disguised by the coconut smell. I'm eating more CO now and I want to order some more soon. I'm curious what the current NN group consensus is on brands and types of oil. I know WFN's centrifuged and fermented oils have generally been lauded but I've also heard good things about Nature's Blessing (which I guess WFN uses now too?) and Mexicoorganics (local chapter member has mentioned it and I think it's been discussed on Discussing NT). Could I hear some quick opinions so I don't order the " wrong " kind? Tom
