Hello!

Just wondering if anyone has had problems receiving their order from

White Egret Farm. I noticed they are listed in the 2006 Shopping

Guide from the Price Foundation.

I ask because I have a friend who placed 3 orders w/White Egret in

2003 for approx $300-$400 worth of goat yogurt, yet never received it,

and the Farm people are hard to get in touch with. My friend has

ordered from them in the past and received his orders so were very

surprised to receive such poor service afterwards. Hope this is an

isolated case.

Thanks,

Marla

Hi :

Thanks. That's what I wanted to know before I write to The Price

Foundation, too. We were also shocked that they continued to take

orders and debit the credit cards " promptly, " yet did not provide the

products or the service. My friend found White Egret Farm from Jordin

Rubin's book Patient Heal Thyself. I suppose I'll find a way to send

a note to Jordin Rubin, too, because he's also advertising for White

Egret.

Thanks again!

You have had to dispute the charges on your credit card?

I think credit card companies refund anything you bought which never

arrived.

Not if you wait to long to complain. Which I did because I'd heard

that some people did eventually get their yogurt from White Egret --

they just had to wait a long time. By the time I contacted my credit

card company (perhaps 9-10 months after the charge), they said it was

too late for them to pursue.

A few years back i ordered a single box of some fermented dog food. The company

then put me on automatic reorder and used my debit card. Imagine my surprise

when checks started bouncing!! Ack!! I filed a complaint with my bank and they

refunded my money. The New Mexico AG's office received a few complaints and

eventually took them to court.
