Guest guest
I am more confused now than ever over this whole subject! http://www.cda.org/articles/amalgam.htm http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/mercury.html http://www.wanttobewell.com/articles15.htm http://www.holisticmed.com/dental/amalgam/ http://www.relfe.com/mercury.html http://www.algonet.se/~leif/FUARTCL4.html http://www.westonaprice.org/envtoxins/mercury.html * Since 1991 the Swedish Government pays 70% of the cost of removing Amalgam Filling from it's citizens. * In November 1993 Sweden passed legislation placing a TOTAL BAN on the use of Amalgam Fillings to take effect from July 1997! * On 21 December 1993, Degusa AG, Germany's largest manufacturer of amalgam announced that it would no longer be making the product. Dean _____ Good luck Dean, and I hope your fillings didn't cause you as many problems as mine have caused me ------------- I think filling removal can be overblown by some health sects in society. If someone has genuine problems associated with their fillings, or if someone's paranoia would be relieved by removing them, then I say remove them. But I don't think removing them is necessarily the right thing to do. It's important to avoid the health hype, whether it be about fillings or otherwise. If someone's health has been improved dramatically, or even moderately for that matter, due to the removal of their fillings, then I'm glad for them. in Seattle
Guest guest
I am going to start using the dmsa powder tonight while using dental godzilla to see if there's anything strange or untoward in it. bG > > Silver powder and mercury are combined in dentistry to make " almalgams " , which are used to fill teeth. > > These have come under fire due to mercury releasing in various amounts, some saying the mercury is not dangerous in these amalgams because it is trapped in the silver. Others think unless you remove even your mercury thermometers from your house, you are still in danger. > > Without getting into this fight, one simple way to avoid potential trouble while using your " dental godzillas " might be to get some capsules of dmsa (at health food stores). This stuff is used as a heavy metal cleaner in hospitals for mercury, lead and cadmium poisoning cases. Sprinkling a little of the tasteless white powder in the mouth and sloshing around will help to capture any released mercury from use of dental godzilla. > > The levels of current and the length of time is so short that any silver and/or mercury being released is likely to be very low indeed. You will get more mercury from tuna fish, probably. I really don't know, but have to make some sort of a guess here. > > I always sprinkle a little dmsa on my tuna fish because I love tuna fish. > > bG >
