NOTICE

National Raw Milk Use and Safety Summit

Purpose: Gather facts for the purpose of producing a Fact Sheet that

covers raw milk use and safety considerations.

For Your Consideration: Would you consider coming to Nebraska for

the event? You can help us gather the facts.

When: Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27, 2006

Where: Lifelong Learning Center, Norfolk, Nebraska

Event Sponsors: Nebraska Dairy Group; University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Extension in Knox County; Center for Rural Affairs; Nebraska

Sustainable Agriculture Society; Northeast Nebraska, PrairieLand,

and Loess Hills Resource Conservation & Development Regions; and

Knox County Economic Development.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension in Knox County at 402-288-

our website: www.knox.unl.edu.

Special Note: Sally Fallon, Mark McAffee, Dr. Franssen and

members of the Nebraska Dairy Group will be present at the summit.

Method: There will be several breakout sessions in each of three

topic areas: Home Use; Farming; and The Science. There will be oral

reports presented after each series of breakout sessions. All the

information will be compiled into a Fact Sheet and reviewed by those

attending the summit. Endorsements from organizations will be

solicited and included on the Fact Sheet.

Bring With You: Ideas, documentations and anything that could

support our effort. Thanks!

Investment Fee: $20.00 (individual) or $30 (family or farm unit)
