Guest guest
Is anyone familiar with Metal-Free (www.bodyhealth.com) for heavy metal detox? My doctor recommended it to me. I used a bottle but never like it was doing anything, mainly because it tasted just like water. (Though I acknowledge that is not the best test of effectiveness...) Then I found a similar product online, PCA-Rx (Maxam Nutraceutics). In their literature they basically slam Metal-Free, saying it hasn't used its originial successful formula since 2002. http://ssl.maxamlabs.com/MAXAM_ASP_CMS_Templates_STD_HTML.asp?PageINDX=18 And again, I tried PCA-Rx and was not convinced it was doing anything either. Does anyone have any experience with either product, good or bad? Thanks much, Sharon
Guest guest
Hi Sharon: I tried Metal Free in 2002 or 2003 as part of a heavy metal detox. I became so horribly ill with dehydration from diahrea that I was home for a week. I only got through about 20% of the bottle. Apparently there was a recall of the product during that period and the mixture was adjusted. I was too afraid to try it again. vsp On 1/27/06, Sharon Conti <sharflin@...> wrote: > > Is anyone familiar with Metal-Free (www.bodyhealth.com) for heavy metal > detox? > > >
Guest guest
Definitely not a ringing endorsement... Thanks for the information! > I tried Metal Free in 2002 or 2003 as part of a heavy metal detox. Guest guest
I don't know anything about the product that you are asking about, but recently received this information from a friend who both she and her husband are going through the heavy metal detox. " The two better systems we have found are drawing the heavy metals through the skin, from saunas and skin brushing, to keep a quick turnover of skin cells, and modifilan, which is a seaweed from the north sea which is an excellent binder with heavy metals (how the mercury begins to be in the fish cycle, in fact!) but the modofilian seaweed binds with the metals in the digestive tract, which is a longer and more delicate method of excreting it. " They had terrible results with chelation. Cyndy > > Is anyone familiar with Metal-Free (www.bodyhealth.com) for heavy metal > detox?
