Guest guest
vanadium at what dosage? I knowmany that have had minor if any drop in BS from vanadium /chromium supplements. what can they do? Re: blood pressure rising Here's some good news: Though almost no one know this, over time, very high quality gymnemma will increase beta cell count; thus decrying the whole genetic argument. Vanadium ,especially in concert w/chromium, is known as the natural alternative to insulin. To this day, and I mean that literally, I am constantly trying teaching patients of the whole cholesterol myth. It's very, very tiring. -- In , " annbekins " <annbekins@...> wrote: > > I have not had my blood pressure go up with eating this way, but my > cholesterol has, to 273. Guest guest
Actually I am quite far from concerned, more just curious if others experienced the same thing. Mine was actually usually on the low side to the point when I had surgery they had to watch really carefully for it to drop too low. It has been this same number(s) for the last three times my bp has been taken over the last 3 months. Thanks for the idea though. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of docscotte Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2006 11:21 PM Subject: Re: blood pressure rising Before you even consider this an issue to be concerned over, take the logical steps: _____
Guest guest
Then I would say that maybe your blood pressure is improving. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of zanyzingzap Sent: Thursday, April 06, 2006 10:05 PM Subject: RE: Re: blood pressure rising Actually I am quite far from concerned, more just curious if others experienced the same thing. Guest guest
What is beta cell count? I have enlarged blood cells since chemo. I take B12 and Zinc. I don't know why they are enlarged; whether because I'm not making enough blood or they are not maturing or what. I am very tired. Guest guest
Ann, Not but gymnema sylvestra is an herb used in India for diabetes. Never had seen before that it increased beta cells. Recently ran across this study on N-acetylcysteine protecting pancreatic beta cells against alloxan induced diabetes in mice http://www.fasebj.org/cgi/content/full/13/13/1845 Alloxan in white flour http://www.geocities.com/missionstmichael/Alloxan.html Wanita annbekins <annbekins@...> wrote: What is gymnemma? Where can one get it? That's good to know about vanadium as well as chromium. I read that vanadium is in good unprocessed olive oil, and just yesterday I received my order of REALLY unprocessed olive oil from RAdiance. Plus some brewer's yeast for the chromium. I can tell that eating WAP has decreased my insulin resistance. Any processed vegetable oils combined with even a little carbohydrate can make my blood sugars go up and stay there for hours, but small amounts of whole carbs with healthy fats don't -- I can get my blood sugar back down to about 100 in a couple of hours then, with much less insulin. For example, a six ounce organic potato with raw sour cream and butter will take about 15 units of insulin to cover, and my blood sugar will be back to 100 in about two hours. Six ounces of Lay's potato chips will make my blood sugar go over 250 and take up to 50 units of insulin, in two or three injections over the next 4 to 6 hours to get it back down. I just got some butter oil too, so I'm going to see how that does combined with the cod liver oil. Even if all this does not heal diabetes, I am certain it will help my body avoid complications. So far so good -- no complications after 13 years. Yes, I've tried to convince my family that their moderately high cholesterol is nothing to worry about, but it falls on deaf ears. My father's cholesterol is low, about 180 without medication, but because he is diabetic also, they have him on a statin anyway! And he has esophageal cancer now, stage 4. Makes you wonder. Guest guest
well how about a " guess " for a starting point on dosage amounts? :-)) Re: blood pressure rising Again, this gets into the entire field of Functional Applied Nutrition - of which most almost no nutritionists, and certainly all Dietician's, know nothinng. Supplementation si tricky business. You need to understand the different molecular forms of the substances; dissolution ability, and what not; one needs to know the proper gross amount to take; one needs to know the ability of the person to absorb - getting into the whole gut health issue - a 'lecture' in it's own right; then there is the age of the person, or rather the general neurologic status. Why do I say this? The more functionally impaired the N. System is, the greater the challenge it is for it to undersyand what you are introducing into the body. This may be the greatest reason why so many people say that substance X doesn't help them, they tried it. The % of functionally impaired humanoids is astonishing. Next, and not last, is dehydration. Wow!! What a can of worms that is. So why do so many people actually get better by so many different, and, albeit, inferior products? That is what all should be asking temselve. Simple answer. People are so massively malnourished, that any molecule even remotely resembling a food based nutrient - will help most. Thank you Ray Kroc! > > > > > > > > Went to the doc today to follow up on a previous visit. Guest guest
ha-ha, ok its out its really for me... (well not really , but I'll play along, what's the dif?) vanadyl sulfate 7.5 mg, suggested use 1 tablet daily, ingredients -vanadium1.4 mg , steric acid, magnesium stearate, silica. Cant find chromium bottle since he chucked them after no results after a month. subject drinks maybe a 2 cokes a month, 6 servings of pasta or rice per month, 4 sandwiches a month. Rest is meat or chicken or fish, salads and veggies. maybe 6 servigs of fruit a month. 1/2 gallon of milk per day. 3 quarts of bottled water per day. He is constantly urinating. Hasnt had any other BS after 2 mo of trying things with no tangible results. He is kind of resolute. Re: blood pressure rising Since this depends entirely on what form you are using, here's the dealio: tell me the forms of the vanadium and/or Cr, who it's for (Im guessing you), and I'll be thrilled to recc. the info. you seek ( I sound like the bridgetender at the end of Python's Holy Grail).
