Guest guest
You can take a look at www.jcrow.com about iodine - it's supposed to be helpful in getting rid of some kinds of cysts, but can take a month. Just FYI, lyme does cause lots of women to get cysts in their reproductive organs as the body tries to wall off the pathogen. Also causes digestive problems and UTI's, flu-like symptoms, headaches, etc. High estrogen is the cause of cysts in the uterus I've heard most often. I've also heard that many surgeons love to just remove the whole thing, and often it happens once you're on the operating table. My OB thought I had fibroids and I read up on it. Getting a hysterectomy causes sudden intense menopause in most women, which is hard to live with. Not to mention the organs have other roles in the body than reproduction, like regulating hormones. Do some research on it, so you can be prepared if it comes to that. > > Ok, so I turned 40 a couple weeks ago and have been falling apart ever since. Guest guest
Happy B'day! I'd suggest soaking in a hot bath for the pain, epsom salts added if you'd like. I have a spot on my left that gets a little congested and that seems to be one of the few things that helps (a nice circular belly rub helps too, preferably while in the bath). Make sure you're getting enough magnesium, B6, C and vitamin D - I find these are awesome for stress. If you think the cyst might be caused by hormones, increase your crucifers for the IC3 and eat more eggs for the cholesterol in order to promote hormone health. For the most part, the important thing is to not worry so much about it - these things happen. I have endometriosis so I've already gone through a removal of 3 cysts on my ovaries and a variety of endometriomas throughout my abdomen. They removed it all via laparoscopy and the surgery was easy, albeit long. They ended up having to use the scalpel in some spots, so it wasn't 100% laser surgery. The only thing that really sucked is they gave me some painkillers afterwards that got me ill, and I popped stitches while worshipping porcelain. Even then I was doing fine in about a week. Keep your weight up, you'll need it for after surgery (to me, everything looked as tasty as chalk for a few days after.) -Lana On 10/23/06, danaecooks@... <danaecooks@...> wrote: > > Ok, so I turned 40 a couple weeks ago and have been falling apart ever > since. Guest guest
I just remembered a friend swears by castor oil packs for those types of problems. You get an old rag/washcloth, saturate it in castor oil (I don't remember if you're supposed to warm it) then put the rag on the area that's troubling you and relax for as long as you can stand it. It's messy. > > Ok, so I turned 40 a couple weeks ago and have been falling apart ever since. Here's the story (thank you in advance for reading).
