Guest guest
Hi all, My daughter used Kirkman's Super Nu Thera before we got a compounded multi from Pfeiffer. Her response to both have been okay, but the compounds are still several pills several times a day (fortunately she is good at swallowing caplets). Following the SNT v. Brainchild line, I was curious if switching may be a good move--are Brainschild multis very effective? Also, when people mention " Brainchild multi vit/min " are you referring to one of the " spectrum support " products? More info would be greatly appreciated. ===== Three frogs were sitting on a log. One decided to jump in. How many frogs were then on the log? Three! You have to take action to jump, to decide is not enough. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi , BrainChild's Spectrum II vitamin/mineral combo was one of our first supplements to try on our son (following enzymes). Within about a week of starting, at age 3, my son said his first words since he lost his language at age 13 months. Coincidence? Even I believed it was, which I don't, you can imagine how reluctant I'd be to consider any other multi! We've had such great results on Spectrum II (I love everything that D. mentioned about the products in an earlier post and more: natural vitamin sources, gut healing herbs, great taste, true commitment by , the founder, who has two girls on spectrum, and Terri, who regularly participates on this board) that when Pfeiffer put ds on additional zinc, we tried the LiquiZinc and have had great results using that product. When we went to Pfeiffer we were already using the Spectrum II, and since we had seen such progress with it, they built their whole program around it. You'll have to compare the Spectrum formulas with the Pfeiffer program and your old multi to see if you need to make adjustments if you try Spectrum II. Anyway, hope that helps a little. > Hi all, > My daughter used Kirkman's Super Nu Thera before we > got a compounded multi from Pfeiffer. Guest guest
, When I started my boys on Brainchild multi vit/min, we used the Spectrum Support II. I really liked it. Then at the beginning of this year they came out with an Ultrasensitive Formula (lower B vits. and no herbs in this formula). So a few months ago we switched to the Ultrasens. Formula and like it. If you go to the Brainchild website, they have a comparison graph of the ingredients of all their Spectrum Support formulas. > Hi all, > My daughter used Kirkman's Super Nu Thera before we > got a compounded multi from Pfeiffer. Guest guest
Here are the ingredients I found on this site (this site you recommended won't support Safari browser): http://www.wellvet.com/catalyn.html I'm wondering if soy lecithin is dangerous since soy in general is. Catalyn is a multiple vitamin, mineral, trace mineral, and enzyme-concentrate, formulated by Dr. Royal Lee in 1929. Catalyn is the antithesis of the " megadose " approach to nutritional supplementation. Dr. Lee summoned the whole of his considerable nutritional experience and know-how to provide a nutritional " catalyst " , a supplement using whole food ingredients which he named Catalyn. Dr. Lee's goal was to provide a food-based package of nutrients in the most potent and " bioavailable form " - its natural state. Catalyn was introduced into the Standard Process line of products in 1930. Proprietary Blend: - 832 mg - Defatted wheat (germ), carrot (root), calcium lactate, nutritional yeast, bovine adrenal, bovine liver, bovine spleen, bovine kidney, dried pea (vine) juice, dried alfalfa juice, mushroom, oat flour, soy bean lecithin, and rice bran extract. Other Ingredients: Honey, magnesium citrate, glycerine, arabic gum, ascorbic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin A palmitate, gelatin, cocarboxylase, riboflavin, and cholecalciferol. Who Should Get Catalyn? Catalyn is a multivitamin, whole food supplement, in a chewable form. It is excellent for birds, small mammals, ferrets, rabbits, and reptiles. For dogs and cats, see either Canine Basic Nutrients or Feline Basic Nutrients. Dosage: 1/4 tablet for each 5 lbs body weight, one to two times daily Top of page On Apr 8, 2006, at 9:49 PM, docscotte wrote: > For those who are serious abouta multi, and not just yanking your/our > chains, if yo are not already VERY familiar with the work of Royal > Lee, then you need to be. Guest guest
I checked out the standard process website. That is the most user unfriendly site I think I've ever been on. I hope the products are good because wading through their mess is a pain. >For those who are serious abouta multi, and not just yanking your/our >chains, if yo are not already VERY familiar with the work of Royal >Lee, then you need to be. Guest guest
The SPL site is really geared much more for the professionals. With our passwords, we have access to much more information - at least I think that's how it's set up. HHmmmpphh, I always found it pretty simple. I wil investigate w/o using PW and see what happens./ SCott -- In , Long <longc@...> wrote: > > I checked out the standard process website.
